Participation in all service activities are voluntary and open for whomever wishes to participate. Sai Baba teaches that selfless service must become a way of life. The Sri Sathya Sai Baba Center of Columbus participates in regular service activities such as volunteering at the Homeless shelter, Nursing Homes and Food pantries.

Sai Spiritual Education (SSE)
Sunday - 11.00 am - 12.15 pm
SSE classes are focused around the five human values of Truth, Right-Action, Peace, Love and Non-Violence. The curriculum includes introduction of the Spiritual Principles/Values based on Sathya Sai Baba's teachings and Individual and group activities pertaining to the life application of the value being discussed.
Students are divided into groups based on grade:
Group 1: Grades 1,2 & 3
Group 2: Grades 4,5 & 6
Group 3: Grades 7,8 & 9
Group 4: Grades 10,11 & 12
SSE year is divided into three quarters:
Quarter 1 : September to November
Quarter 2: December to February
Quarter 3: March to first week of June
Sunday - center vedam and bhajans : 9.30am - 11am
Bhajans/ Devotional Singing - Devotional singing is viewed as food for the mind and connects with God. It helps to remove negative thoughts, soothes the nerves, purify the mind and fill the body and heart with a love for God and for everyone.

The purpose of Study Circle is to learn Baba's teachings so that we may deepen our understanding and implement them in our daily lives to aid in our spiritual growth. It is important that participants not only learn from the study circles, but transform into exemplary examples of spiritual discipline.
