Welcome - Quad Cities Sai Center

Sai Ram to all - Welcome to our Center's Website. We have been an active Sathya Sai Center in the Quad Cities area for the past several years.

We hold regular Bhajans sessions (singing Devotional songs), participate in Volunteer Service Projects (like Kids Against Hunger, Lunch for Homeless, etc.) and Study Circle sessions (Spiritual group discussions on sundry topics) in the Quad Cities area. Anyone and everyone wishing to join us in singing the Lord's Glory and practicing His Teachings is welcome to attend.

We meet every Sunday and on Special festivals. We also have a daily Omkar chanting session

Regular Weekly Bhajans:
2:30 - 3:00PM - Bhajan Practice
3:00 - 3:45PM - Bhajans
3:55 - 4:30PM - Study Circle

Center meeting and Bhajan locations:

All bhajans and center meetings are currently being held online via Zoom due to the pandemic. We look forward to hosting in-person activities once it is safe to do so. Please contact the center President for instruction to join the Zoom meetings.

Daily Omkar Chanting:
We also gather every evening at 9pm CST for 108 Omkar chanting.

Summary of ongoing service activities:

Our service group distributes groceries and/or prepares food for adults/families on Saturdays at the following locations. Frequency may vary, depending on need and participation, but there is usually some activity on-going every weekend...

1) Church of Peace (1114 12th St Rock Island, IL)

2) All Saints Evangelical Lutheran Church (5002 Jersey Ridge Rd, Davenport, IA)

3) Prepare Meals or provide funds for meals for Brick House Children

4) Serve breakfast to homeless adults at King Harvest

5) We purchase, prepare and serve food to homeless adults at CAFÉ ON THE VINE (932 West 6th St. Davenport, IA)

The following list includes additional service activities that our group participates in:

KING HARVEST: We bag/sort and distribute groceries for homeless adults at King Harvest

KIDS AGAINST HUNGER (KAH): We pack food for Kids Against Hunger (KAH) Foundation. We have been recognized for packaging a total of over 112,044 meals to date.
